Our mission is to serve the needs of the community of San Cristobal, in the Dominican Republic. We are dedicated to helping underserved children have the opportunity to become leaders who bring positive change to their community.

Help us to send a girl to college!
Fast forward to 2022. We currently support 12 young woman as they pursue higher education. We even helped one of them graduate from medical school!
With a tax deductible donation of $250 you can pay for a girl to go to college for an entire year. Mujeres al Poder!
Our programs
University scholarships
Thanks to your support, our scholarship recipients have obtained their bachelor's degrees from various universities including UTESA, O&M, Eugenio Maria de Hostos, UAPA, and UASD, with technical courses also offered, supported by donations.
Literacy
Building a love of reading is at the core of our work. We have designed a rigorous reading curriculum based on the science of reading that enables us to teach not only our young students but also adults within the community who are illiterate.
Summer Camp
Las Margaritas Foundation, established in 2010 as a summer camp, now offers diverse activities and educational outreach in Madre Vieja Sur and Las Galeras, positively impacting children and youth under the leadership of educators.
STEM
Centers I and II are tackling academic challenges with a STEM program and collaborating with Nathalie Brito to provide technology training (programming languages, robotics, etc.) by engaging students from IPL and universities.
